Today we’ve announced the exciting line-up for Bloom At Home, the online event encouraging the Irish public to come together and Bloom from their own homes on Sunday, 31st of May. We’re also giving you some tips on how to make your very own compost for your garden at home!

On Sunday, May 31st, Bord Bia Bloom’s patron, President Michael D Higgins will deliver his annual opening address at 11am, followed by gardening talks, cookery demonstrations and craft beer and Irish farmhouse cheese tasting. You’ll see some familiar faces on the day – such as Irish chefs Neven Maguire and Donal Skehan, and regular Bloom show garden designers Andrew Dunne, Jane McCorkrell and Oliver Schurmann.

Bloom At Home will bring a flavour of Ireland’s largest gardening and lifestyle festival into people’s homes this June Bank Holiday weekend. From preparing vibrant flower beds and much-loved house plants, to creating a wildflower meadow at home, or preparing a back garden picnic, there are a range of ways the public can get involved!
