Hidden Valley Holiday Park was supported by County Wicklow Partnership in 2011 for the development of an adventure playground at their centre in Rathdrum. Hidden Valley offers self-catering cabins, camping facilities, camper’s kitchen, showers and toilets. In addition there are a host of on-site activities such as rowing boats and more recently Hidden Valley is offering kayaking and bike hire.

It’s picturesque setting beside the weir and nestled below the forest make it a very attractive holiday location. Since it was acquired by the current owners, Llyod Williams & Molly Simbric in 2005, the centre has been radically transformed and occupancy Levels have been rising steadily. The addition of the adventure playground and other changes have allowed the Park move from a 3 star to 4 star rating.

The centre is one of the key operators in the tourism industry in Wicklow and makes a significant input the local economy in Rathdrum.

County Wicklow Partnership (CWP) was formed as a result of a merger between Arklow Community Enterprise, Wicklow Working Together and Wicklow Rural Partnership. The company came in to effect on 1st January 2009. The work of the company is carried out through a series of publicly funded programmes and projects, funded largely through the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs (incl. Pobal) and the HSE.

County Wicklow Partnership’s activities cover all of Co. Wicklow, except Bray.
