An Induction to Donkey Care on Tuesday the 29th of March 2016
This is a full day practical workshop that will include demonstrations and hands on techniques required for the care of a Donkey. The course will run from 10am-4pm and is suitable those aged 12 years +
There is no fee,but donations to the sanctuary are gratefully received for the course run by the Donkey Sanctuary (www.thedonkeysanctuary.ie). Booking is essential, to make a booking email: info@thedonkeysanctuary.ie or phone: 022-49013.
This course is aimed at the new donkey owners and covers all aspects of looking after a donkey including:
• Theory and practical sessions on field management
• Theory and practical sessions on stable management.
At the end of the course you will be asked to fill out a Question paper based on what has been discussed during the day. You will then be presented with a Certificate.
The Donkey Sanctuary wishes to thank the staff of Airfield Estate for the use their facilities.
It is important to give yourself enough time to arrive at 9.45am to register you attendance and the course will commence at 10am sharp.
At 1pm there will be a 30 minute break, Overends Restaurant is open on site.
It is important to wear suitable footwear for the “hands on” demonstration and warm clothing. The course will finish at 4pm.

By Luas Airfield is served by the Luas Green Line. Exit at the Balally stop. By Bus 11, 14, 14C, 44, 44B, 75, 116.
