The first Bord Bia Christmas Food Market will take place at chq, George’s Dock, IFSC, Dublin 1 from Thursday 12th December to Sunday 15th December. This Christmas Food Market will showcase the very best of Irish produce from forty producers and will include plenty of foodie Christmas gifts to save you on the wrapping!

Products include Christmas puddings, mulled wine spices, bakery, smoked salmon, Irish farmhouse cheese, artisan tea, handmade fudge and chocolates and Irish horticulture to name just a few. See the listing of participating companies.

Opening hours:
Thursday December 12th : 10.00am – 8.00pm
Friday December 13th : 10.00am – 8.00pm
Saturday December 14th : 10.00am – 8.00pm
Sunday December 15th : 10.00am – 6.00pm
The market is totally indoors so you don’t need to worry about the weather as you browse the stalls and soak up the festive atmosphere.

In addition to the Christmas Market other attractions inside the chq building include a charity indoor Santa Claus, kids area with face painting, hair braiding and other fun activities before they meet with Santa, and a lively rota of musicians will add to the fun.

You can also enjoy the atmosphere of the Airtricity Dublin Docklands Christmas Festival that will be taking place outside the chq building where you can get hot food and drink to enjoy on the spot.

On Foot
There is an excellent pedestrian linkage between the North and South of the city via the Sean O’ Casey Bridge. George’s Dock is located within the IFSC development. Access is beside the CHQ building about a 5 minute walk from O’ Connell bridge. DART
Connolly Station and Tara Street Station are within five minutes’ walk of the George’s Dock Area (IFSC) in Docklands. At peak times, the DART runs every 10 minutes. For more information visit. www.iarnrodeireann.ie

The closest Luas Stop to The chq Building is George’s Dock on the Luas Red Line which brings you direct to the venue. If you’re on the Luas Green Line, take Luas to St. Stephen’s Green Stop and walk circa 20 minutes to Docklands.
