Festival of Faith and Flowers to celebrate 700 years of history at St. Nicholas Church of Ireland, Adare. Preparations are now underway for the biggest ever flower festival to be staged in Adare, Co. Limerick as members of St. Nicholas Church of Ireland and a host of volunteer arrangers from across the county start work on telling the story of the 700-year-old Augustinian Abbey through flowers. The Festival of Faith and Flowers will take place will take place at St. Nicholas Church of Ireland between Friday 22nd and Sunday 24th May 2015. Event Description:The biggest ever flower festival to be staged in Adare, Co. Limerick staged by members of St. Nicholas Church of Ireland and a host of volunteer arrangers who will tell the story of the 700-year-old Augustinian Abbey through flowers.

As well as the 21 floral displays featured throughout the Church, there will also be music recitals, guided tours of the historic Cloisters, a plant stall and flower arranging demonstrations. And, the room in which the Augustinian friars gathered to eat hundreds of years ago will be transformed into a vintage tea room where visitors will be treated to tea, coffee and some of Adare’s finest home baking.
