Using an active learning approach along with innovative techniques, materials, exercises, tools and templates, this FETAC Level 6 Train the Trainer course is for anyone considering a new career path in training, or for established trainers and facilitators wanting to build their capacity to work in more experiential and interactive ways – techniques such as Open Space and World Café.

The course will increase the trainer’s confidence when designing or delivering courses and impart skills and knowledge required to evaluate training. A participative active learning approach is highlighted in order to achieve real engagement, better cooperation and sustainable results together.

Who should take this course?

The course is for practitioners who want to design and deliver meaningful training for organisations, communities and specific groups of learners. Cloughjordan Ecovillage offers a particularly exciting environment for people who want to develop integrated, whole system and collaborative approaches. The course will be particularly suitable for trainers, facilitators and coaches wishing to enhance their own practice of inviting, designing, opening and holding inspired training.

Certification

This course leads to the FETAC Level 6 minor award Train the Trainer (E30179). Certification is provided by Cultivate’s training partner NICER Training, a registered QQI/FETAC training provider.
