Paraic Horkan from Horkans Garden Centres has announced that the Blarney Group – who operate Meadows and Byrne, Blarney Woollen Mills and Farrell and Brown – will open a new 3,500sq ft retail space at Horkan’s Lifestyle and Garden Centre in Turlough, Castlebar, Co Mayo, this August bank holiday weekend. Taoiseach Enda Kenny will perform the official opening on Saturday, August 4, at 11am. This new development will also result in the creation of up to ten new positions, with Meadows and Byrne now actively recruiting for a store manager, store supervisor as well as several full and part-time staff through jobs.ie

Meadows and Byrne and Blarney Woollen Mills will offer a wide selection of lifestyle products for the home and kitchen, as well as traditional gifts and household items. Farrell and Brown maintain to be ‘a unique and dynamic fashion label aimed at younger shoppers, who are looking for quality, stylish and affordable clothing’. Horkan’s Lifestyle and Garden Centre already includes the five-star national award-winning Garden Centre, Edinburgh Woolen Mills, The Bay Leaf restaurant, and Petworld.
