Plans are coming together really well and we are working hard to ensure our greenfinger friends will delight at the show line up.
This year’s event will showcase a stunning large feature garden which vows to engage and excite visitors.
The “WOW” garden, as the team affectionately call it, is being designed by married duo Michael Evans and Rohanna Heyes.
Creatively incorporating the 2016 edible theme, the garden, “Nourishing Tradition: from the Past, for the Future”, has paths and willow tunnels to explore and interesting edible planting ideas. Set in the shape of the Brigid cross it aims to capture the ancient wildness of Northern Ireland’s landscape, and is a thought-provoking as well as a fun space.
Antrim Garden Trail are creating displays from some of the wonderful gardens on our doorstep including Kilcoan Gardens, Ballyrobert Cottage Gardens, the walled garden at Greenmount as well as Antrim Castle Gardens.
